Ignition Park Test Facility

The Ignition Park Test Facility is part of the Ignition Park technology hub, a collaborative and innovative environment for collaboration between NDTL and its R&D partners. The professionally staffed facility is dedicated to conducting research, testing, and workforce development for technologies critical to current and future aero-propulsion and land-based power generation gas turbine products. Additional capabilities include It can also accommodate a wide range of test articles including components, sub-systems, and full engine systems for aircraft, power generation, and other applications.

Ignition Park has six indoor test cells and two outdoor test stands supported by a dedicated electrical power substation and a facility infrastructure including an air plant, a vacuum system, cooling towers, fuel storage, and a carbon dioxide storage facility. All the test cells/stands have the flexibility to a wide range of customer requirements with three configured specifically for rotating component testing.
